We are proud to be associated with the DFC for the 2023 season and we wish Jayden and the club all the best for this year!

Ryan Wiggins' Charity House

FEB 2023

Please tell your mates that Ryan Wiggins' newly built Charity House in Cygnet is now listed for sale. Drop in at the open home on tomorrow (Wed 8th Feb) or this Saturday (11th) and have a look for yourself - details below.

The more interest in this beautifully built and quality home, the more potential funds to help Ryan pay for travel expenses for therapy (which is not available in Tasmania) so he can reach his goal of walking again.

We are proud to be one of the local companies that have contributed building materials towards the new house, and hope that the sale also generates a lot of continuing support towards helping Ryan recover from the tragic accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down.

International Womens Day

8 MAR 2023

Nubco, a Division of CGL, is proud to be part of the IWD recognition activities, taking place throughout all the business in Australia and NZ.

The 2023 International Women’s Day theme of #EmbraceEquity gives us an opportunity to reflect on the positive things we have already achieved in terms of valuing diversity and inclusion here at CGL. It also challenges us to think about the road ahead and what else remains to be done in our quest for true equity.

As CGL colleagues, how we focus our energy together to understand and leverage the positive things we have in place is important.

As the world comes together to celebrate International Women’s Day today, here at CGL we will mark with day with a Speakers Forum followed by the release of a series of Career Stories from our colleagues linked to the 2023 theme of “Embrace Equity”.

RUOK Day

DFC Colts raising awareness

22 JULY 2022

Nubco are proud to be sponsors of the Devonport Football Club's Colts team.

Last weekend was the Clubs community contribution round with the colts raising awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Network Australia, the club also supported beyond blue and Tim Blairs “run for kids” supporting kids impacted by Cancer.

Well done to the Devonport Football Club on this great initiative, we are proud to be a DFC partner and to offer our support to the local community.

R U OK? DAY

10 SEPT 2021
Life's ups and downs happen to each of us every day!

Yesterday Nubco recognised RU OK? Day by encouraging our teams to have a “chit chat with a Kit Kat”.

We were reminded that every day can be a day to ask, “Are you OK?” where a simple meaningful conversation could change someone’s life.

We don't need to be experts to reach out - just a caring friend and a great listener.

Cup cakes for Koinz for Kids a huge success!

5 AUG 2021
During July, our long serving employee Karen Bennet baked us all cup cakes each Wednesday which were for sale by the way of gold coin donation, then to be donated to Koinz for Kids - for NW children impacted by Cancer. Karen had a goal of $500 which was quickly surpassed, with Nubco also matching dollar for dollar up to $500, and 20 dozen batches of cup cakes later (plus another 15 doz savouries in the last week!) Karen had raised $2420!

A fantastic result and very well done to Karen and all those that supported the event throughout the month.
